Patent guidance is an exploratory operation guiding and supporting the scientific development of industries that embeds patent applications into technological innovation, product innovation, organizational innovation and business model innovation based on patent information resources utilization and patent analysis.
● Industrial Patent Guidance
Create roadmaps of industrial technology development, make industrial development plans and accurately position the industrial clusters in domestic and foreign markets in respect of technology and division of labor so as to provide precise guidance and determine targets of business and investment attraction technology development.
For major companies in different fields, provide guidance on the direction, positioning and path of business development based on patent guidance and analysis and provide advice on companies’ technology research, patent planning, patent operation, risk avoidance and other activities.
Using patent resources as a link, construct a community for patent operation collaboration and a patent pool in industrial clusters and carry out patent operation, and further development, transfer and incubation of patented technologies.
In September 2013, SIP was awarded one of the first patent-directed industry development zones approved by State Intellectual Property Office. With the support of SIP Technology and Information Technology Office, SIP Intellectual Property Operation and Service Center undertook the project and made tremendous efforts to facilitate the coordinated development between patents and the industry, optimize and integrate patent resources and improve patent application capabilities so as to build an industry cluster that is aligned with regional resources whose growth is led and driven by patents. It has formed a set of methodology that’s proven to be operable, reproducible and implementable to improve the industry’s ability to drive growth by innovation and international competitiveness.
